Through this, we’re to present you a marvellous gallery of images which was captured by Christian Spencer who is a photographer and an artist from Rio de Janeiro since 2001. According to the artist, all of his work has been enriched by the rich biodiversity and the beauty inside Brazil throughout the past years. Spencer has produced many wonderful pieces of art since he started working in this career.
However, one day Spencer had noticed some Jacobin hummingbirds flying around his verandah making an alluring rainbow effect due to the hit of sunlight at their wings at a particular angle. Soon he decided to take some amazing shots and finally made the shots into a sequence with the title Winged Prism.

The artist noticed that the cute little hummingbirds create an interesting rainbow effect when sunlight hit their wings at a particular angle.
This accidental incident was his inspiration to begin a gallery titled ‘Winged Prism’.
Spencer hasn’t used any type of a special technique when snapping the birds, the rainbow effect was natural.
By the way, this isn’t the first attempt of him to capture these tiny and cute birds. He had already released a film in 2011, titled The Dance of Time in which he snapped all the movements of the wings of hummingbirds. Although his project of this film isn’t over yet, he has received 10 international awards and three best film honors so far. However, after a few years he had thought of capturing this unique incident by his camera. And the final results are obviously stunning.
Spencer said that he hasn’t used any type of a special technique when snapping the birds during a discussion.
The artist too is amazed and overwhelmed about this natural incident which he was able to capture using his camera. He also stated that he received more and more emails day by day, by the ones who enjoyed his splendid photography.
