The British Photographer, Christopher Swann has been following his passionate creativity for the past 25 years.
Swann has been spending many years diving and exploring the ocean and possessed the perfect skill of shooting photos of cetaceans as whales and dolphins. His photos are so fascinating since they are being captured both above and below water.
His photos were able to capture the elegance with their own subtle tones of colours on smooth waters since they capture the natural beauty of the animals in their own habitats.
Following are some of the highlights from one of his interviews:
“I have been looking at whales for the last 25 years. It is what I do almost every day,” says Swann.
“I love the beauty and perfection of the sea. Cetaceans epitomise that.
Whales are really wonderful other than any other cetacean underwater.
Getting an opportunity to watch these huge but graceful animals in their own surroundings is elegant.
I have been sailing since I was 17 years old; before 40 years.
My first whale-watching holidays were in the Canary Islands and Hebrides.
I got to know many species and their reactions as well as to be in the right place at the right time.
I loved to devote my time on whale photography.
The meaning of running trips on whale watching is making an availability for the others to watch them through a photo while you are actually watching them on your own.
I have been trying to capture better photos with a perfect concentration on that throughout years.”
Swann was able to create inspiration on us following his passion.
