Vet Saves An Unusual Golden Possum & It Have The Same Look Of Pikachu


Perhaps you’ve said that cartoons aren’t real and fairies don’t exist in the world at some pace in your life. But a single glance to the present world has proven all your ideas wrong. Have you seen the most adorable baby possum who has the same look as a Pikachu? Here it is! The whole world is amazed by this cute little baby possum who was found in Australia and the internet users have gone viral on the little creature. They claim it to be a Pikachu without disguise.

The baby possum was brought to the Boronia Veterinary Clinic by a rescuer in Melbourne. The baby possum was a female and she was able to light up the whole room with her stunning yellow fur. By the way the cause for the golden fur in this baby possum is a genetic mutation which results in low level of the pigment melanin. Melanin is the pigment which gives the possums their normal colour. If not there’s another explanation too. The cute little bud belongs to a species of Pokémon and our life has been a lie. It went viral just because of its orange mixed yellowish skin coat.

This world famous pikachu girl was found down on the ground by a rescuer 2 years back. Business Insider stated that it was still a baby when they found it. They guessed it to be five months old then and was expected to have fallen from the back of its mother. Baby possum spent one night at the Boronia Veterinary Clinic and was placed with a wildlife carer.

As per what’s said by Dr. Kath Handasyde from Melbourne University’s School of Biosciences, the rare colors like this which seem to be beautiful for us cause death for these adorable animals soon. “One of the issues with unusual colors, particularly if they are pale, is that this is a nocturnal animal and if they are pale, they are obvious to predators like an owl,” she shared with The Age.

And also, Caroline Dazey from the non-profit Wildlife Victoria stated that another 3 golden possums were found in the states, especially on Melbourne’s fringes. “We do get calls about them, there are little pockets of them in Victoria.” Anyhow, the places in which they reside are kept a secret in order to assure the safety of them.
